Alexander S. Nee, Esq.
Alexander S. Nee is a Partner at Franco & Nee and leads the Corporate Governance and Incorporation department. With extensive trial experience in both Massachusetts State and Federal Courts, Alex is regularly retained by developers, contractors, property owners, construction managers, insurers, and brokers to file significant personal injury and property damage claims. Richard D. Shea, Esq.
Richard D. Shea is head of the criminal and family law department. As a former Captain and Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Rick knows what it means to put service first. That sense of selfless service and dedication to his clients is exactly what he brings to Franco & Nee. Rick has had the rare opportunity to practice in various areas of the law; from criminal law to family law to national security and international laws of war. As a Judge Advocate Rick not only represented soldiers in their own court cases but was also commonly called upon to advise Commanding Generals, Colonels, and Lieutenant Colonels, both domestically and overseas. Rick’s awards include the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korea Defense Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, and the Overseas Service Ribbon, among others. Having returned to private practice after his most recent military post in South Korea, Rick now handles criminal and family law cases for Franco & Nee. Originally from the Florida Panhandle, Rick studied History & Political Science at the University of Central Florida where he graduated cum laude while working at a local law firm learning the skills of litigation and advocacy first-hand. After being promoted in two short years from an unpaid law clerk to the Manager of the firm’s busiest downtown office, Rick decided to follow his dream by being the first in his family to attend law school. Awarded a competitive academic scholarship, Rick move to New York City and received his Juris Doctor from New York Law School.
Focusing his career on criminal and constitutional practice; during his final year of law school Rick also served as a Student Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York, where he prosecuted misdemeanor crimes in Brooklyn Criminal Court by day and attended classes by night. Rick is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The American Bar Association and active in his local community advocating for the Rights of Veterans.
